Head Middle Magnet 2021 Interactive Fiction Showcase

These choose-your-own adventure games were crafted by 5th and 6th grade students at Head STEAM Magnet in Nashville, TN using Twine. These are all submissions for our first Interactive Fiction Competition.

Students all had to start with the same prompt: “Sam had warned her a thousand times, but she never listened.” Their interactive stories diverge from there, going in totally unexpected, creative directions!

A round of public voting determined semifinalists and a professional judging panel decided the finalists and the winner. All the games represent an incredibly high achievement in creativity and technical prowess for these young authors!
